    The 4th annual South Florida Worksite Wellness Forum and Awards will take place at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa Hotel on April 20 from 8 am-2:30 pm. Tickets are $65 for breakfast and the morning session, $65 for the luncheon and afternoon session or $110 for the whole day.

    The Black History awards will be handed out at the Marjorie and William MacDonald Center on February 28 from 6:30-8:30 pm. The awards are for a multi-disciplinary art contest for students between the grades three and twelve.

    The Greater North Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce is presenting the Table Top Expo on March 13. It will be held at the Newport Beachside Hotel and Resort at Sunny Isles Beach from 5:30-8 pm. Admission is free to Chamber members and it is expected that around 300 people will show up. There will be draws for door prizes.

  • Electrolytic Technologies wins 2011 Miami Dade County Award

    Electrolytic Technologies, which is based in North Miami Beach, has won the 2011 Miami Dade County Award in the Municipal Water Treatment Equipment category. It is the third year in a row in which they have won the award. The award winners are selected by the U.S. Commerce Association. The company was sited for exceptional marketing success in their local community and outstanding business skills.

    The annual Snowfest is planned for North Miami Beach on December 10. The event will take place from 6-11 pm at the Gwen Margolis Amphitheater; it is sponsored by the North Miami Leisure Services Department. Admission is $5 per person.
